Since Google launched Bard last year, people all over the world have used it to collaborate with AI in a completely new way

To prepare for job interviews, debug code, brainstorm new business ideas, or, as Google announced last week, create captivating images.

Their mission with Bard has always been to give us direct access to their AI models, and Gemini represents their most capable family of models.

To reflect this, Bard will now simply be known as Gemini.

We can chat with Gemini with Google’s Pro 1.0 model in over 40 languages and more than 230 countries and territories.

And now, they are bringing us two new experiences – Gemini Advanced and a mobile app to help us easily collaborate with the best of Google AI.

Easily use Gemini on mobile phone

They are starting to roll out a new mobile experience for Gemini and Gemini Advanced with a new app on Android and in the Google app on iOS.

Gemini, now on your phone, lets you type, talk, or share images for on-the-go assistance. From fixing a flat tire to crafting invitations, it’s your versatile conversational AI helper.

Gemini On Android Mobile Phone

On Android, Gemini is a new kind of assistant that uses generative AI to collaborate with you and help you get things done.

By downloading the Gemini app or opting in via Google Assistant, we can access it through usual activation methods like hitting the power button, corner swiping, or saying “Hey Google.”

This introduces a convenient overlay experience for easy Gemini access and contextual help on your screen. It allows actions like generating captions for pictures or asking questions about articles.

Additionally, various Google Assistant voice features, such as setting timers, making calls, and controlling smart home devices, are available through the Gemini app.

Gemini on iOS mobile phone

For iOS users, access to Gemini directly from the Google app is on its way in the next few weeks.

Simply tap the Gemini toggle to enhance creativity, design custom images, receive assistance with social posts, and plan a perfect date night all within the Google app.

Gemini is launching on Android and iOS phones in the U.S. today, with full availability in the coming weeks.

Next week, it expands to more English locations and introduce Japanese and Korean support, with additional countries and languages coming soon.

Summary

Gemini, the evolution of Bard, is revolutionizing AI collaboration globally. Available on Android and iOS in the U.S., expanding to more locations and languages soon.

Gemini, a conversational AI accessible through the Google app, provides on-the-go help for tasks like image creation and date planning.

Gemini signifies a major stride in developing a conversational, multimodal AI assistant, featuring Gemini Advanced and a collaborative mobile app with Google AI.

Accessible in over 40 languages across 230 regions, Gemini is set to redefine AI interaction and support in diverse contexts.
