They are starting to roll out a new mobile experience for Gemini and Gemini Advanced with a new app on Android and in the Google app on iOS.
Gemini, now on your phone, lets you type, talk, or share images for on-the-go assistance. From fixing a flat tire to crafting invitations, it’s your versatile conversational AI helper.
Gemini On Android Mobile Phone
On Android, Gemini is a new kind of assistant that uses generative AI to collaborate with you and help you get things done.
By downloading the Gemini app or opting in via Google Assistant, we can access it through usual activation methods like hitting the power button, corner swiping, or saying “Hey Google.”
This introduces a convenient overlay experience for easy Gemini access and contextual help on your screen. It allows actions like generating captions for pictures or asking questions about articles.
Additionally, various Google Assistant voice features, such as setting timers, making calls, and controlling smart home devices, are available through the Gemini app.
Gemini on iOS mobile phone
For iOS users, access to Gemini directly from the Google app is on its way in the next few weeks.
